Just a quick reminder that on___________________________________ we will be welcoming award-winning, children's book author, Darleen Bailey Beard.  Our staff and students are very excited. Darleen will give an inspiring talk about how she decided to become a writer when she was only ten years old (she still has the stories she wrote with her spelling words and will show them during her slide presentation).  She'll be discussing her books, her current works, answering questions, autographing her books, and doing hands-on writing workshops, if time permits.
